We’re actively pursuing CyberSecure Canada certification — the Government of Canada’s recognized standard for SMEs — to validate our security baseline.

PositionScale’s baseline emphasizes least‑privilege access (RBAC) with MFA, strong encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES‑256), and ongoing hygiene through regular patching, dependency scanning, and backup testing. We support centralized logging and alerting to improve detection and response, and we maintain a written incident response plan with a tested escalation process.

Our privacy program is led by a named Privacy Officer and supported by clear governance practices. We run Privacy Impact Assessments for new features and integrations, maintain data mapping and retention procedures, and support subject request processes. We also perform third‑party due diligence for subprocessors and keep handling of personal and institutional data clear and auditable.

Data residency & certification path

Canadian-first hosting with configurable residency, plus a clear certification roadmap.

Cross‑border processing is only considered with documented assessments and explicit institutional approval, and residency commitments can be configured per institution.
